1 month agoI love this place. It's a must try. Ive been getting the chili Colorado since I was a kid. Nothing has changed. It's a delicious sauce that tastes like a dark mole sauce. I love how the meat melted in my mouth with a silky smooth sauce. It came out super hot. I love how you get endless chips. The servers are on point and kept everything full. I had a great time. brought me back to when I was a kid. It was better than I remember.

I was taken care of with genuine care and attention long before anyone knew I had a connection to the owner, and that speaks volumes about the integrity of the team and the standard they uphold. 2 month agoI’ve been coming here for many years before I moved away. When I came back to visit, this is one of the first places I wanted to go! It is a 10/10. I went today and had yet another exceptional experience. The service is excellent. Our chips and salsa were never empty, our drinks never less than 1/2 way empty. My boyfriend got the Flautas Lunch Special, and I got my favorite- the Giant Burrito Grande. I chose chicken and mild (although you can get medium and hot as well). It is HUGE, so I take home half as my next meal. But man, there’s nothing like it! Please stop by and support this restaurant. It’s a tiny hole in the wall hidden away in a strip mall, but I can’t recommend the food or service enough!

4 month agoLa Placita has been serving the Orangevale/Sacramento region for over 35 years, and I’ve been bringing my family here ever since we moved into the area back in 1998. The food has always been consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices won’t break the bank. It’s no surprise the place is usually packed in the evenings — locals know how good it is! My personal favorite is the Patrick Burrito Grande — strips of steak with sautéed tomato, bell pepper, onion, rice, beans, and cheese. So delicious! Friendly service, authentic flavor, and a welcoming atmosphere make this place a true gem. Highly recommended!
